Product Introduction
The thickener is suitable for the dewatering treatment of concentrate and tailings in the mineral processing plant.It can increase the slurry concentration from 20-30% to around 40-70%.This efficient concentrator is widely used in industries such as metallurgy, chemical engineering, coal, non-metallic mineral processing,and environmental protection.
Working Principle
A thickener is a solid–liquid separation device that operates on the principle of gravitational settling. It concentrates a slurry with a solids content of 10% to 20% by gravity into a underflow slurry with a solids content of 45% to 55%. A slow-moving rake, installed inside the thickener and rotating at 1/3 to 1/5 rpm, facilitates the discharge of the thickened underflow from the underflow outlet at the bottom of the thickener.
