Product Introduction
This machine is used to produce the ball with the spherediameter of 6~15mm, which is the balling equipment of rawmaterials for vertical kiln and vertical wave rotary kiln incement factory.
The motor transmits power through a V-belt pulley to a worm gear set, which drives the rotation of the pelletizing disc. Since the base plate of the disc is inclined at an angle between 45° and 55° to the horizontal, the material on the disc is carried from the lower to the higher section due to centrifugal force and friction with the base plate. When the material reaches a certain height, it rolls back downward under its own weight.
During this movement, an appropriately atomized water spray is introduced, moistening the powdered material and initiating the formation of small pellets. These pellets continuously roll within the disc. As they do so, water within the pellets is partially extruded to the surface, while the ongoing water spray causes dry powder to continually adhere to the pellet surfaces. This process gradually increases the pellet size.
Once the pellets reach a certain size, their increased mass and smoother surface reduce the friction between them and the disc base. This friction becomes insufficient to carry the pellets along with the disc's rotation, causing them to be naturally discharged from the pelletizing disc.
The size of the pellets is determined by adjusting the inclination angle of the disc base plate relative to the horizontal.
Under constant conditions of water supply and feed rate, a larger angle produces smaller pellets, while a smaller angle yields larger pellets.
